Biography
Caroline grew up as the youngest of four children in Dallas, TX and was known widely (read: by her dad) as the fastest grapeviner this side of the Mississippi. Caroline spent her childhood reading to her stuffed animals, writing poems and performing elaborate skits with her cousins. She moved to California to attend Stanford University, where she received her BA in Political Science. Caroline has spent her career working across education, everything from teaching brilliant third graders to developing policy for education technology. She is currently an MFA Candidate in Writing for Children and Young Adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts. She lives in Palo Alto, CA with her husband, two kiddos and their 120-lb dog. Her debut picture book Gitty and Kvetch will release in June 2020, and she is excited to share more upcoming news soon.
